Чарынский каньон называемый туристами «Долиной Замков», "Ущелье ведьм", "Каменный мешок" настоящий памятник природы образованный природными процессами в эпоху палеогена, что более 30 млн. лет назад. Это древнейший вид современной флоры, который отнесен по международному кадастру к исчезающему виду. Каждые выходные ущелье каньона оживляется присутствием приехавших туристов, даже 200 км в один конец и испепеляющее солнце не убавляет желающих увидеть действительно красивый ландшафт Чарынского каньона. Длина самого каньона примерно 5км, глубина около 200м.

Чтобы увидеть всю помпезность и царственное величие Чарынского каньона не поленитесь зайти на плато и посмотреть на каньон сверху. А вниз стоит спуститься, чтобы воочию увидеть ясень, а в конце ущелья устроить пикник возле реки Чарын. К сожалению, популярность этого места сказалось на его экологическом состояний. Наши люди по большей мере настоящие свиньи, раз позволяют себе оставлять мусор за собой в местах, куда возможно они вернуться снова. Самое главное возьмите больше воды! Ни колы, ни соков, а именно чистой воды, 3 литра на человека самый раз. Конечно, возле речки пейте что угодно, а вот пройти 5 км под палящим солнцем лучше только с водой.
