«Фабрика серых теней»: тема кинематографа в отечественном искусстве книги 1920-х годов

В статье, приуроченной к Году кино, рассматриваются обложки книг о кинематографе, выпущенных в России в 1920-х годах. На основе анализа работ известных графиков и анонимных авторов, выявляются самые распространенные приемы художественного оформления кино-литературы, прочно утвердившиеся в те годы символы экранного искусства, особенности трактовки образов актеров, режиссеров, операторов.
