Verantwortlich für M&A-Prozesse ist nach der Geschäftsordnung des Vorstands der Finanzvorstand. Verantwortlich für die ordnungsgemäße und effiziente Durchführung des M&A-Verfahrens ist das Konzerncontrolling (M&A-Bereich; „Process Owner“). Verantwortlich für die strategische Begründung und das wirtschaftliche Ergebnis einer Akquisition ebenso wie für die Implementierung der bei der Akquisition zugrunde gelegten Unternehmensplanung ist der zuständige Geschäftsbereich („Business Owner“). Die Umsetzung dieser Verfahrensanweisung erfolgt auf Grundlage der Verfahrensanweisung zur Erstellung von Verfahrens-, Arbeitsanweisungen und Formblättern IMS-VA-QM-001.
