Герб России — один из главных госуд

Герб России — один из главных государственных символов России, наряду с флагом и гимном.

Герб Российской федерации был изменён указом Президента 30 ноября 1993 года. Он основывается на гербе Российской империи и имеет предназначение заменить собой герб СССР и герб РСФСР после распада СССР.

В центре изображён всадник, поражающий копьём дракона.

Скипетр, который орёл держит в правой лапе, увенчан небольшим двуглавым орлом, который, в свою очередь, также держит скипетр и т. д. до бесконечности. Подобная повторяемость является уникальной для геральдики.
