Президент США відбуває сьогодні з Вашингтона, починаючи поїздку країнами Європи. Першим етапом поїздки буде Іспанія. У Мадриді президент США зустрічається з прем’єр-міністром та королем Іспанії. Напередодні візиту тисячі іспанців провели у Мадриді демонстрацію. Вони протестували проти смертної кари у США, виходу Америки з Кіотської угоди про охорону навколишнього середовища та проти американських планів створення нової системи протиракетної оборони.
