Кафедра ИТТЭК Университета ИТМО существует с 2011 года, бывшая кафедра химии. Основные направления кафедры – это информационные технологии, техническая физика, изучение нефтепродуктов, химия. В рамках этих направлений, кафедра проводит многочисленные исследования новых технологий, что способствует дальнейшему развитию кафедры и создаёт потенциал для подготовки высококвалифицированных кадров. Ведутся научные технические разработки в направлении экологии и медицине. На базе кафедры созданы три малых предприятия (бизнес инкубатора), каждый из которых отвечает за своё направление.
Объектами профессиональной деятельности выпускника являются:
- основные химические, нефтехимические и биотехнологические производства;
- системы автоматизированного проектирования;
- процессы и аппараты химической технологии, нефтехимии и биотехнологии;
- методы и средства оценки состояния окружающей среды и защиты ее от антропогенного воздействия;
- сооружения очистки сточных вод и газовых выбросов, переработки отходов, утилизации теплоэнергетических потоков и вторичных материалов;
- создание материалов для фармакологии, медицины, сельского хозяйства.

В связи с вышеперечисленным, с уверенностью можно сказать, что кафедра ИТТЭК – это успешное будущее в карьере нынешнего студента и огромный научный потенциал для поколений будущего!

Department of ITTÈK University ITMO has existed since the year 2011, the former Chair of chemistry. The main directions of the Department is information technology, technical physics, the study of petroleum, chemistry. Within these areas, the Department carries out numerous studies of new technologies, that promotes the further development of the Department and creates a potential for training highly qualified personnel. Scientific technical development is underway in the direction of ecology and medicine. On the basis of the Department established three small businesses (business incubator), each of which is responsible for its direction. The objects of professional activity graduate are:-basic chemical, petrochemical and biotechnological production;-computer-aided design;processes and devices of chemical engineering, petrochemical and biotechnology;-methods and tools for environmental assessment Wednesday and protect it from human impacts;-sewage treatment facilities and gas emissions, recycling, recycling heat flows and secondary materials;-creating materials for pharmacy, medicine and agriculture.In connection with the above, we can say with confidence that the Department ITTÈK is a successful future in the career of current students and the enormous scientific potential for the generations of the future!
