Артур Конан Дойл - это английский писатель, так же врач. Он автор многих приключенческих исторических книг, в том числе Шерлока Холмса. Конан Дойл родился в Шотландии, в Эдинбурге 22 мая 1859 года. Его отец был прекрасным художником, но у него была плохая психика и он часто выпивал. Из-за этого в семье были большие финансовые трудности. Его мать была чудесной рассказчицей.
