В образовательном пространстве высшей школы в процессе социализации осуществляется адаптация обучающихся к новым жизненным условиям, развивается новая форма социальной активности и самоопределения. Индивид уже освоил процесс интериоризации и открыт для сбалансированной интеграции в систему общественных отношений, имеет определенный уровень сформированности социальной компетентности, однако не совсем достаточный для успешной социализации в социуме. Именно социальную компетентность целесообразно рассматривать как основу успешной социализации личности, так как именно овладение социальной компетентностью способствует освоению и принятию новых социальных ролей, адекватной системе интеракции и продуктивной самореализации.
В рамках компетентностного подхода, внедренного в образовательное пространство высшей школы, гуманистическая парадигма является эффективным фактором формирования социальных компетенций обучающихся.
Современные гуманизационные образовательные механизмы, в основе которых лежат современные технологии (управленческие, учебные, воспитательные), являются средством развития социальных компетентностей студентов. Гуманизационные механизмы - это практическая реализация идей гуманизма в образовательном пространстве высшей школы, которая выражается в дидактических концепциях, учебно-воспитательном, организационно-управленческом и др. процессах и способствует самореализации и развитию личности, например, социальную компетентность: «Политическая, социально-экономическая компетентность» эффективно развивают такие гуманизационные образовательные механизмы, как политические, социальные, экономические дисциплины; образовательные технологии («дебаты», «мозговой штурм», «конференция идей», «анализ ситуаций» и т.д.); усиление практикоориентированной компоненты в учебном процессе; увеличение доли самостоятельной, индивидуальной работы студентов и т.д[7].
