Fundamental research about the nuclear policy of Kazakhstan among Western scholars. In this regard, the sources that were used in this thesis about Kazakhstan can be divided into two groups: oral and written. The group included writing materials such as national documents, official and working documents of the ministries and agencies of Kazakhstan and foreign countries, official materials of international organizations and diplomatic documents. A significant portion of the sources is the official publications, interviews and statements by officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan. The author of this thesis had the opportunity to visit Scientific nuclear research centre which is based at the former Semipalatinsk test site and materials carried out joint works United States, Russia and Kazakhstan. For a comparative analysis of policy of Kazakhstan and foreign countries in disarmament and utilization effects of nuclear explosions were used materials of Ukrainian and foreign publications. To expand the theme were also used by international agreements and treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan's domestic legislation and ratified international agreements that regulate various aspects of the studied subject. Then there were used the texts of international agreements and treaties, whereto the Republic of Kazakhstan. In Kazakhstan over the past decade, held annually on August 29 in honor of the International Day against Nuclear Tests is holding forums and conferences. This thesis also reviewed the sampler reports international scientific seminars. There are valuable material on the question of disarmament issues. In the work of the article were also used foreign periodicals, such as "Arms Control Today," IAEA Bulletin "," Science & Global Security, Jane's Navy International. For a better understanding of many of the problems associated with the problems of disarmament and non-proliferation, and dating with foreign gaze on the issue of disposing of Kazakhstan nuclear weapons important are subsequently published in the magazine "The Nonproliferation Review, devoted to the analysis of the various aspects of non-proliferation and disarmament regime.
