Дилемма сциентизма и антисциентизма

Дилемма сциентизма и антисциентизма — одна из ключевых в современной культуре, когда, с одной стороны, наука и технология переживают небывалый расцвет, а с другой — все более очевидной становится оборотная сторона прогресса.

Сциентизм — представление о науке как ключевом явлении человеческой цивилизации и единственном пути познания мира. Он не представляет собой оформленного направления в философии и проявляется во многих философских течениях Нового времени, а также в мировоззрении людей этой эпохи. В наибольшей степени сциентистские идеи свойственны философии эпохи Просвещения, позитивизму и марксизму.

Сторонники антисциентизма, напротив, не рассматривает науку как основополагающую область, отдавая должное другим сторонам культурной жизни — религии, искусству, философии, которые невозможно свести к научному познанию.
