Российско-палестинские переговоры

Д. Медведев: Уважаемый господин Президент Государства Палестина, Махмуд Аббас, уважаемые представители СМИ, дорогие коллеги! Прежде всего хочу поблагодарить господина Махмуда Аббаса за возможность вновь встретиться в древнейшем на Земле городе – в Иерихоне.

Действительно, наши страны – Россию и Государство Палестина – связывают давние дружеские отношения. Наша страна последовательно выступает за реализацию законных прав палестинского народа. Мы оказываем практическое содействие в развитии экономики, подготовке национальных кадров и целом ряде других вопросов.

Господин Президент сейчас сказал о тех вопросах, которые мы обсуждали в сфере ближневосточного урегулирования, палестино-израильского диалога, обеспечения вопросов безопасности в регионе. Все эти темы мы обсуждали в ходе переговоров.

Теперь о документах, которые были подписаны, и вопросах экономического и гуманитарного сотрудничества. Полезно, что мы создали полноценную межправкомиссию, которую возглавляют наши коллеги-министры и которая уже набирает обороты. Это признак выстроенных двусторонних отношений.

Я проинформировал господина Аббаса, что 10 октября этого года вступило в силу решение Евразийской экономической комиссии, которое предусматривает отмену пошлин для значительной части товаров, которые происходят из Палестины и попадают на общий рынок пяти государств Евразийского союза. Надеюсь, что от этого решения выиграют все, и мы, конечно, поможем развитию экономики Палестины.

Были подписаны документы, они важные. Это межправительственное соглашение о взаимной защите капиталовложений и целый ряд других документов. Надеюсь, они помогут укреплению взаимодействия.

Хочу поблагодарить господина Аббаса за помощь в присутствии и нашего государства, и Русской православной церкви на Святой земле. В этом смысле реализован целый ряд проектов. Мы уже кое-что сделали и собираемся продолжить эту работу, в том числе в историческом центре Вифлеема. Также мы готовы продолжить работу в гуманитарном направлении по подготовке профессиональных кадров для Государства Палестина. Мы рады тому, что в настоящий момент в университетах нашей страны учится более 500 палестинцев. Мы готовы продолжить такого рода практику и в дальнейшем.

Хочу ещё раз поблагодарить господина Президента за содержательный дружественный диалог, за приглашение посетить ваше государство. Уверен, что наша встреча будет способствовать развитию российско-палестинских отношений.
