К пеервым относятся функции, непосредственно связанные с выполнением поставленных перед банком задач, - это такие виды деятельности как кредитование , инвестирование, доверительные операции, прием и обслуживание вкладов и т . д. Функции штабного персонала заключаются в консультировании исполнителей и включают бухгалтерский учет*, анализ хозяйственной деятельности*, прием на работу и повышение квалификации* служащих, маркетинг, контроль, методическую работу, планирование строительства и ремонт*. В небольших банках эти функции не разделяются: и некоторые руководители и рядовые служащие занимаются и тем, и другим. Чем крупнее банк, тем четче разграничиваются оперативные и штабные функции.
