Был тёплый осенний день, когда мы всей семьёй полетели в Мексику, чтобы посетить местные достопримечательности, а также вулкан Колима. По рассказам наших друзей мы знали что он был огромным и извергался более 40 раз с 1576 года. Из истории мы знали, что когда он извергался, слои пепла падали на зерновые культуры, а из того, что оставалось от растений, местные жители, жившие недалеко от вулкана, пекли в больших духовках очень вкусные лепёшки.Но скоро растений не осталось совсем, и люди стали умирать от голода. Еды на всех не хватало, и самые стойкие бросали свои дома и уходили подальше от вулкана. Когда мы приехали на это место, нас ждала неудача. Во-первых, нам запретили снимать фотографии вулкана, а во-вторых нас предупредили, что вулкан может проснуться. И действительно, когда мы улетели домой, через неделю, 12 сентября было сильное извержение. Но мы не расстроились, ведь все впечатления остались в памяти.
