Самокритичность, умение признавать допущенные ошибки как предпосылка для профессионального совершенствования (для письменного переводчика); а также: языковая культура и грамотность, "чувство языка" - как родного, так и иностранного (это можно развить систематическими занятиями и погружением в языковую среду).
Психологическая настроенность на то, что язык придется учить всю жизнь (выучить язык до конца невозможно!).
Но вот вы решили стать переводчиком. Получили высшее образование по специальности, не разочаровались в ее выборе, хотите начать работу.
Здесь вы сразу сталкиваетесь с первыми трудностями. Поверьте, делать первые шаги нелегко. Но необходимо! Всё и сразу никогда не бывает. Нужно время, желание, вера в себя, оптимизм и работа над собой (помните, совершенству нет предела!).
