Подчеркну, что Россия готова сотрудничать со всеми странами в духе честного и взаимовыгодного партнёрства; выступает за обеспечение равной и неделимой безопасности, за решение мировых и региональных проблем, урегулирование конфликтов на прочной основе международного права и Устава ООН. Именно этими принципами мы руководствуемся при выработке подходов к наиболее острым вопросам современной повестки дня, включая и сирийский кризис. По большому счёту на сирийской земле сейчас определяется способность и готовность международного сообщества объединить усилия и вместе противостоять единой для всех нас угрозе – террористической, а также адекватно отвечать на другие вызовы глобальной безопасности и стабильности. Вместе с заинтересованными странами Россия содействует запуску внутрисирийского диалога. Убеждены, решение сирийского конфликта должно быть политическим, только так можно остановить кровопролитие, обеспечить возвращение миллионов беженцев, восстановить экономику и социальную сферу этой страны.
