Показывается, как негативно повлияли на культуру и образование годы оккупации республики Вьетнам иностранными захватчиками. Документально подтверждено героическое сопротивление вьетнамского народа, его созидательная деятельность по преодолению трудностей, созданных условиями военного времени, показаны пути восстановления отечественного библиотековедения и его развития в современном Вьетнаме.
