Annotation. This work is devoted to studying the impact of electromechanical activation on the fractional composition of oil, allowing to apply the proposed technology for increasing the depth of processing of oil and petroleum residues. Performed an analytical review of existing technologies and devices used in the refining industry to implement processes of oil raw material processing. Researched energy impacts that occur during the work of the electromechanical Activator Vortex layer, resulting in a change of the physico-chemical properties of hydrocarbons. Describes the peculiarities of cavitation processes, as well as subsequent changes accompanying structured system of hydrocarbons, leading to an increase in the release of "light" fractions and reduce the content of sulphur and nitrogen impurities. Are the results of the preliminary studies of the impact of electromechanical activation on fractional composition, explored the possibility of the use of the device in the refining industry.
