Д. Медведев: Сегодня у нас действительно очень хороший день – мы проводим консультации по правительственной линии. Смотрим, конечно, и в будущее. 25-летие восстановления отношений – это уже приличный срок, но нужно смотреть вперёд.

Господин Премьер-министр очень хорошо рассказал о том, что нас связывает, о тех прочных узах, которые объединяют Россию и Израиль. Здесь действительно особая атмосфера.

Но наши страны связывают и общие ценности. А в эпоху, когда многие ценности пытаются отрицать, это очень важно. Мы исходим из общего понимания итогов Второй мировой войны, критической важности победы над нацизмом, неприятия антисемитизма, вообще любой ксенофобии. И, с другой стороны, перед нашими странами стоят общие вызовы.

Прежде всего это терроризм. Да, терроризм угрожает сегодня всей планете, но в этом регионе это ощущается особенно остро. Российская Федерация также страдает от террора. У этого террора общие корни, именно поэтому нам необходимо совместно противостоять ему. Это касается и вопросов координации наших усилий в сфере безопасности и обороны, что в последнее время вышло на принципиально новый уровень. Российская Федерация также выступает против распространения ядерного оружия. Естественно, совместными усилиями (а здесь наша позиция открытая, мы готовы к сотрудничеству со всеми государствами, кто в этом заинтересован) нам необходимо уничтожить ядро терроризма, который в настоящий момент олицетворяет ДАИШ, или ИГИЛ. Об этом неоднократно говорил Президент Путин, я хотел бы здесь это ещё раз подтвердить.

На сегодняшних переговорах мы значительное внимание сконцентрировали на экономике. Израиль – наш крупный торговый партнёр в регионе, но мы пока ничего не сделали для того, чтобы сильнее подтолкнуть торгово-экономическое и инвестиционное сотрудничество. И вот для этого мы встретились сегодня, для этого были подписаны документы. Причём мы заинтересованы не просто в том, чтобы рос торговый оборот, который у нас снизился в последнее время. Мы заинтересованы в том, чтобы наши отношения приобретали качественно другой характер. Вот сельское хозяйство. У России уникальные условия для ведения сельскохозяйственного бизнеса, а у Израиля отличные технологии. Если соединить эти подходы, можно получить выдающийся результат. И не только друг друга обеспечивать качественным продовольствием, но и выходить на рынки третьих стран.
