Ну, я думала, что рассказик маленький, тут я уж точно угадаю убийцу. Ага, не тут то было.. Как всегда рассказ оказался интересным и загадочным. Пуаро таинственным образом попадает в руки записка с просьбой помочь обезвредить жестокого убийцу, которого можно сравнить с Эриманфским кабаном. В рассказе описывается Отель, отрезанный от мира. Несколько постояльцев проживают в этом отеле. Среди них прячется убийца. Подозреваются все! Пуаро должен отыскать свирепого убийцу Марасско. Убит полицейский Друэ.
Действие происходит на закрытом пространстве и, поскольку этого убийцу никто не знает в лицо, то Пуаро должен его вычислить, что он с успехом и делает несмотря на жестокие происшествия, включая покушение на его жизнь.
